Same Icon, New Color! Air Jordan 4 “University Blue”

In terms of iconic footwear, the Jordan Brand has a handful of options to choose from. One of the original’s, the Air Jordan 4, has become a legend for sneakerheads and footwear fanatics. Soon the legendary silhouette will return in a striking new colorway. Today we get our first look at the Air Jordan 4 “University Blue.” While this particular pair isn’t associated with the University of North Carolina, the color is quite familiar.

The sneaker features a Tar Heel-inspired blue along the base and the netted sections of the sneaker. The upper boasts a stunningly suede construction, accented by black eye stays, rear Jumpman logos, and on the forefoot of the sole. The sneaker is also adorned with speckled heel counters and midsole molds, resembling the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement.” The sneaker also features an embroidered “23” tag that sits near the flight branding. The silhouette is finished off with a three-toned outsole, offering a clean and classic look.

No official word on a release date has been announced, though rumors have them dropping on March 6th. Take a closer look at the AJ4 “University Blue” in the images and head over to Nike to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for all the best in sneakers and footwear.
