October doesn’t just mean that Fall is here. It’s also a time when we get to spend one day dressing up as someone else, indulging in sweets, drinks and good times with friends. Halloween is right around the corner, and the good folks over at HYPE have returned with a brand new capsule collection that’s scary stylish. Hype has teamed up with Universal Monsters to create a spooktacular clothing collection just in time for Halloween. The range was inspired by iconic monsters such as Frankenstein, Creature from the Black Lagoon and more. We also find some modern characters thrown in the mix.
Those include references from Child’s Play, Casper, Psycho and Shaun of The Dead. In terms of style, Hype offers a tie-dye aesthetic on some pieces, though with darker shades. Oversized silhouettes are seen, including dished hem styles and drop shoulder fits. The classic designs are seen on sweats, crewnecks, hoodies, joggers, tees and more, perfect for the cooler seasons ahead. The Fall-ready colorways are a nice rough, while retro sensibilities are seen as well. The vintage-looking, oversized graphics paying homages to nostalgic characters. The range also introduces Hype’s standard shirt shape with a Cuban collar.
