To kick off the new year, the Japanese denim brand, EDWIN, has revealed something exceptional. The brand has paired up with Swiss artist Thomas Koenig to transform a selection of denim and mainline apparel. In doing so, the two have created some bold designs that boast the artist’s trademark bleaching technique. Thomas has become well known for his bleaching customs, working on projects with the likes of Etudes Studio, 424 x ARMES, and more.
The artist was given free reign to customize twenty pieces, offering something unique, creative, and eye-catching, to say the least. The collection includes an array of DIY abstract compositions, each created by the artist’s bleach filled spray bottle. Once complete, the final touches were added at the Orfèvrerie workshop in Saint Denis, applying exclusive screen-printed artwork to each piece. The range is sleek and stylish, exclusive and eye-catching, a perfect way to step up any selection of style.
