It’s been nearly four years since the release of her debut album, but Sevyn Streeter is back. The songstress made her return this past weekend with a brand new single, pairing up with A$AP Ferg and Chris Brown in the process. The new single is called “Guilty” and finds the trio hitting us with a dose of their uncanny abilities. The track is the lead single from Sevyn’s upcoming album, Drunken Wordz x Sober Thoughtz.
The project is slated to arrive later this year, and “Guilty” is our first taste of the album. The track is pushed by this incredibly contagious backdrop that allows all three artists to do their thing flawlessly. Each one brings a dose of their respective talents; Sevyn and Chris hold down the vocal side of things, while Ferg shows off his lyrical talents. The track also comes to life with a fitting set of visuals.
The video was directed by Young Chang and Sevyn herself, offering a unique take on the track and its context. Sevyn Streeter never disappoints, and she certainly doesn’t start with this one. You will feel “Guilty” for missing out on this one.
