The beautiful and incredibly talented, Sevyn Streeter is back. Way back in 2017, the songstress released her official debut album, Girl Disrupted. Since then, she hasn’t dropped much other than a single last year called “Yernin.” Though it’s been a minute, Sevyn hasn’t missed a beat. Today the songstress returns, doing so with a brand new single entitled “Whatchusay.” The new single is the first from Sevyn in a minute, though she doesn’t disappoint.
The track, “Whatchusay” also provides a first taste at her upcoming album Drunken Words, Sober Thoughts. The track finds Sevyn showing out over top of this infectiously smooth backdrop, showing off her range and her powerful vocals in the process. The track’s instrumental provides a solid home for Sevyn to showcase her talents, and she does so flawlessly. While it’s been nearly two years since the arrival of her debut album, it looks like Sevyn is about ready to dive back in. This new single shouldn’t be slept on.
