Shades of Style | The Irishman Eyeglasses By SUPER

Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman” was one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, and it recently dropped on Netflix. Today we take a closer look at some of the style from the film, more particularly the eyeglasses and sunglasses worn by the stars throughout. One of the film’s stars, Joe Pesci, who plays Russell Bufalino, is seen rocking Super’s Classic Black eyeglasses. The frames are worn come in two variations, coming in a standard clear lens, or with custom, medium-light tinted grey gradient lenses.

While they were never officially made with grey gradient lenses by Super, they were customized for the character. The good folks over at Eye Goodies are honoring the pair, offering the Super Classic Black as a Custom sunglass. Starting with premium Essilor full UV protected lenses, we meticulously hand-tint in house to the perfect medium-light grey gradient. The custom tint begins with a 60% tint at the top transitioning to 0% at the bottom. The shades are sleek and stylish, eye-catching, and clean. They offer a classic look with a modern aesthetic, providing plenty of shape and style along the way. Super always delivers quality designs, and the Super Classic Black Custom is just the latest in a fine line of quality glasses.
