There are a few cars that are capable of carrying around a man with the stature of NBA retiree Shaquille O’Neal. His affinity for fast cars and motorcycles is well noted, but today we take a look at one that is set to go up for auction. Today we get a look at Shaq’s stunning 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider. This incredible machine was customized to fit his 7’1” frame.
The ride features a classic look, and the exterior seems to be nearly flawless. The Ferrari F355 has a few aftermarket upgrades such as a custom soft top, sound system, Formula 1-inspired transmission, and Pirelli P Zero tires with 19” Giovanna Luxury wheels. However, many of the stock details remain intact.
The vehicle is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 engine with 376 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque. The ride is finished off with a body-matching tonneau cover. The vehicle was rearranged to make room for the NBA superstar. The fuel tank was shifted to provide space for two extra-deep seats with bespoke Superman logos in the headrest.
The vehicle has only 7,000 miles, and according to the seller, only 1,000 miles were added between its purchase in 1997 and sale in August.
