Sure, 2020 is officially upon us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a look back at 2019. The lyricist known as Skillz is back, unleashing his only single of the year while taking a look back at the year that was. Today Skillz serves up his “Rap Up 2019” track, the latest in his decade-plus long series. The 2019 version finds Skillz getting a solid instrumental to excel upon while giving us a look back at the year of 2019 with an array of bars.
Skillz does his thing, as expected, touching on a number of hot topics from the past year. The wordsmith speaks on everything from Diddy and Jigga turning 50, as well as Lil Nas X, snitching, and so much more. Skillz even made time to speak on phony kidnappings and everything in between along the way. This man never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start with this one.
