No stranger to performance and luxury, Audi is back with something new for the fleet. Today we get a look at the Audi Q3, a Sportback SUV design position to rival German rivals BMW and Mercedes. The mid-size segment is quite the popular one, and the Q3 is a welcome addition. The vehicle features the design language of the Q8, scaling the design though keeping the muscular looks of the larger SUV.
The ride also features sleek details seen in Audi’s lineup of sedans, with the Sportback adding a coupe-like aesthetics. Depside the increased ride height, the vehicle comes with plenty of pep and power. The Q3 features multi-mode sport suspension and engine options ranging from a 2.0-liter diesel to a 226 horsepower turbo four-cylinder. A mild hybrid is also slated to arrive shortly after the official launch.
The biggest surprise was the transmission options, with a manual being available on the Quattro all-wheel-drive model; which is sure to be quite fun to drive. Audi is slated to drop the Audi Q3 Sportback SUV in the European market in Fall 2019.
