They return to announce its coveted, limited batch of Distiller’s Cut will be available in the United States for the first time.
What is Distiller’s Cut, you might ask? Well, every Fall, Monkey 47 embarks on a quest for a 48th “Species Rara” ingredient to create a very special release batch of gin. This year the “secret” 48th botanical is Myristicae arillus, the seed covering of nutmeg – also known as Nutmeg Mace. This is what Distiller’s Cut entails. Nutmeg Mace, like nutmeg itself, has a resinous aroma and a slightly bitter taste. This comes out in Monkey 47’s incredible blend, offering a unique dose of flavor to match its unrivaled smoothness.
