Something Special | New Era & Yohji Yamamoto Drop Fall/Winter 2019 Capsule

So far this Fall, we’ve seen a bevy of new collections, eye-catching capsules, and contemporary collaborations. New Era returns to the action, doing so with another collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto. It seems like every few months, these two collaborate on a new capsule, and they arrive again with some new options for Fall and Winter. This time around, the two offer an array of branded layering options, some new bag designs, and, yes, headwear.

The range includes a selection of 59FIFTY and 9THIRTY caps with Yamamoto’s script logo emblazoned across the front. Both flat and curved brim styles are offered, arriving in muted black, dark navy, or burgundy. Each cap boasts large or small branding embroidered at the front of the crown. The rest of the collection features a matching beanie and “Adventure” safari cap, both arriving in black. All of the headgear also features a rectangular leather patch with Yamamoto text.

Elsewhere we find a functional tote bag, sling pouch, and backpack for a dose of style on the go. Finishing things off is a few apparel pieces. We see a set of white and black long- or short-sleeved tees with logo prints at the chest. While a pair of black gloves, complete with touchscreen-friendly finger pads, finish things off.

Take a closer look at the capsule collection in the images below and look for the new collection to arrive at Yohji Yamamoto stockists and New Era Japan’s web store on November 1st. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new style and streetwear coming soon.
