The one and only, Megan Thee Stallion, is back. This time around, it has nothing to do with her music. The artist has aligned with the good folks over at Popeyes to create her very own signature sauce. Dubbed “Hottie,” the sauce is said to be crafted with honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo paper. The new sauce will be sold on Popeyes’ chicken sandwich, marking the first time the chain has tried out a new taste for the menu item.
The sauce was announced with a teaser, which happens to showcase Megan in a bedazzled outfit in her home in Houston, Texas. The new sauce will also arrive with collaborative merchandise that offers “bikinis, long sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers” and a “Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toy.” In addition to her signature “Hottie” sauce, Megan announced that she is now the newest Popeyes franchisee and will be opening several Popeyes locations in the future. Thee Stallion released a statement that reads: “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur.”
Be on the lookout for Megan Thee Stallion and Popeyes’ “Hottie” sauce, which will be available nationwide starting October 19th.
