Following all of our 2022 New Years celebrations, the Lunar New Year festivities are set to commence. The good folks over at Apple are back in the news, offering up something special for the Year of the Tiger. Like the previous year of the Ox offering, the tech giant will release a special-edition Year of the Tiger Airpods Pro. The new design features a special tiger emoji wearing a hood with fireworks in the background, which adorns the MagSafe charging case.
Other than that, the special-edition drop has no noticeable difference. However, the same emoji is found engraved in bright red on the sides of the packaging box. Purchasers will receive a set of exclusive red packets embossed with the tiger emoji inside the Apple logo and “2022’ text. The Special Edition AirPods Pro is now available in-store and online at select Asian markets and currently retails for the same price as the regular Airpods Pro. For fans not in Asia, you can opt to engrave the standard tiger emoji on their case for a similar effect without the unique hood and fireworks.
