Sound Meets Style! The Teenage Engineering x Off-White OB-4 Speaker

The creative minds over at Teenage Engineering are back in the news feed. This time around, the brand has joined forces with Off-White for a new iteration of the OB-4 speaker. The collaboration includes a sleek design that pushes out incredibly sound quality thanks to its array of modern features. The late Virgil Abloh contributed to the OB-4’s design, elevating the speaker with a bright orange colorway and Off-White branding. As for the OB-4 speaker itself, the speaker features FM radio, Bluetooth, and a line-in jack.

The device is capable of “memorizing” everything played through it, thanks to an endless looping feature. The OB-4’s disk mode is an experimental aural zone with three settings: Ambient, metronome, and karma. Ambient is a background filler made from clips of radio broadcasts, while the metronome is a high-quality stereo recording of an analog metronome from one to 800 BPM. Karama features remixes of spiritual sounds and chants. The Off-White OB-4 also includes exclusive tracks from SK Kakraba, one of the last remaining builders and master players of the gyil.

Check out the Teenage Engineering x Off-White OB-4 Speaker in the images and head over to Teenage Engineering to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of sound and style coming soon.
