The good folks over at Porsche are no strangers to speed. Today the iconic automaker is back with a look into the future, unveiling a first look at the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Coupe. This stunning new machine was developed in collaboration with the company’s Motorsport division, creating its first GT 992 variant. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six which pushes out 503hp.
Customers have the option of a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. All of this combines for a 0-62 mph time of just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 198 mph. Track-focused and road-ready, the latest addition to the Porsche fleet also features elevated and enhanced aerodynamics and handling.
The ride is equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension, wider tracks, a swan neck rear wing, a large rear diffuser, and a track-optimized digital dashboard. Here drivers will find pertinent information such as tire pressure, oil temperature, and water temperature. Porsche is looking to change the game with this one.
