Start With Style | Off-White™ Celebrates Lunar New Year

A new decade is upon us, and the celebration continues. With the Lunar New Year on the horizon, folks are gearing up for the celebration and doing so in style. Brands worldwide have started gearing up for the big day, including Gucci, BAPE, and more. Today Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ returns with a new collection of streetwear that is aptly titled the “LUNAR NEW YEAR” collection. The limited-edition collection features womenswear, menswear, and accessories draped in shades of black and red. The red details represent “fortune, good luck, and joy” as a nod to one of the most familiar colors of the Chinese New Year celebration.

We see signature Off-White™ insignia throughout, such as arrows and quotation marks. These graphic details are seen across hoodies, crewnecks, T-shirts, and jeans. There are also illustrations of rats that pay homage to this year’s zodiac symbol. Pink floral imagery is seen as well, offering a lighthearted touch to the womenswear side of things. “GOOD LUCK” also serves as a prominent phrase, seen on a number of items. Elsewhere scarves, wallets, leather bags, and socks are detailed with well wishes.

Take a closer look at Off-White™’s “Lunar New Year” collection and look for the range to arrive on Jan. 8th at Off-White™’s website and Off-White™ retail stores. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the realm of style and streetwear.
