Looking for a stylish way to elevate your footwear collection this season? Well, we’ve got precisely that! Stüssy and Dr. Martens are back at it again. This time around, the two iconic imprint’s have come together to reengineer a set of 8053 HYs. This time around, the footwear comes rocking a tweaked version, boasting details, and design cues through Stüssy’s aesthetic. The shoes come in brown and black, offering a rugged hiking-inspired build. The design is constructed of protective Snowplow leather, a water-resistant material that repels grit and salt.
The shoe also boasts padded upper collars, complemented by a reinforced double-stitched heel counter. The silver-toned eyelets are a nice touch, as are the thin black rope laces. Other details include a small co-branded tab placed near the throat line. All of these elements are then situated on top of a new hybridized PVC-rubber midsole called the “Wintergrip.” The sole features open slots that enable debris cleaning and offer extra traction over cold winter surfaces.
