Stop & Stay Awhile | The Drayton Hotel

For anyone who hasn’t visited Savannah, Georgia, you are missing out. The city is filled with southern hospitality and charm from a different era. Today we head to the heart of Savannah’s Historic District for a look inside  The Drayton Hotel. This beautiful hotel adds new life to one of the city’s oldest buildings. The Drayton Hotel features a restored 19th-century facade that welcomes guests and locals into stunning gathering spaces. Here we find an array of original details and a charming mix of eclectic furnishings.

The hotel itself boasts fifty rooms and suites, even rocking a brasserie-inspired seafood and oyster bar helmed by Christopher Meenan. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a coffee bar serving daily-made pastries and quality brews. Downstairs we find a stunning cocktail lounge, which supplies a great space to kick back and enjoy some great libations. However, the crown jewel of the property is the rooftop bar. The space sits above the city streets, serving drinks along with panoramic views that stretch from City Hall to the Savannah River. Savannah has an allure all of its own, and The Drayton Hotel embodies it flawlessly.

Take a closer look inside the hotel in the images below and head over to book your stay right here, right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more travel destinations coming very soon.
