If you are anything like us here at The Culture Curators, you are a big fan of great whisky. If that’s the truth, then you will certainly want to pay attention. Today we get a look at the Ultimate Whisky Collection. This collection is the first single-owner sale of spirits from Sotheby’s. The range is made of iconic bottles, total 178 bottlings from The Macallan Fine and Rare series.

The crown jewel is a 60-year-old The Macallan 1926 from cask #263 that yielded only 40 bottles. This particular spirit hasn’t been seen at auction for more than a decade, and not is your chance to put your hands on some. The collection is also host to a 50-Year-Old Springbank 1919. There’s also a 70-Year-Old G&M Generations bottlings of both Mortlach and Glenlivet. The complete set of Macallan Fine and Rare Miniature bottles are offered in an exclusively commissioned lockable wall-mounted cabinet. Bidding on this incredible collection at Sotheby’s begins on September 27th. The collection is expected to bring upwards of $4 million ISD.
