The artist known as Jun Cha is back, returning with some stunning new additions to his CAPO series. The interdisciplinary artist has revealed his CAPO ring collection, boasting a penchant for skulls and “embracing mortality.” The ring collection is seen in three iterations, offering a luxe finish of polished brass, sterling silver, and 14k gold. The rings are an extension of the artist’s message of focusing on life “in the present moment.”
Each design features hollowed-out eyes and a wreath-style crown on the top of the skull. Each is then inscribed on the interior with the phrase “Memento Mori.” This detail serves as a reminder that death is an eventual destination for all. There is also a butterfly found on the back of the ring, which arrives in a custom, black wooden box. Cha’s CAPO RING measures around 23mm, offering a nice touch of style and detail to any wardrobe.
