Style & Celebration! Under Armour Reveals The Curry 8 “Beautiful Flow”

The good folks over at Under Armour are back at it once again. This time around, Under Armour and Curry Brand have come together to celebrate Black History Month. In doing so, they have tapped artist Devin Allen to co-create the Curry 8 “Beautiful Flow.” The sneaker was inspired by Allen’s book “Beautiful Ghetto” which is a photograph collection that immortalizes the beauty of overlooked communities in Baltimore.

The uppers come rocking a sleek look with a pitch-black hue, accented by mesh panels and heel counters. A glossy surface adds to the appeal, while the mudguard is adorned with Steph’s logo towards the back. The sneaker is detailed with exposed orange stitches that are seen from the heel to the toe.

To add more influence and inspiration from BHM, the sneakers also feature Pan-African-inspired hits of green on the tongue logos, while orange dotted patterns detail the laces. The sneaker is then finished off with a thin black mold that separates upper from the sole, while the treading sees an all-white aesthetic.

Take a closer look at these eye-catching Curry 8 in the images and head over to Under Armour to get yours immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more sneakers and footwear coming soon.
