Style & Color! PUMA Unveils ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Collaboration

The good folks over at PUMA are back at it once again. This time around, the sportswear giant is back with a smooth new collaboration with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The new collection features a playful aesthetic that is packed with color and exceptional attention to detail. Focusing on footwear first, the collection includes three silhouettes revamped with smooth new colorways and details. Included are the iconic PUMA Suede, the Wave Rider, and the Future Rider.

The Suede comes rocking a beige hairy suede base layer which is detailed with triple stacked side stripes and leafy graphics from Tom Nook’s aloha-style shirt. The shoes boast translucent sole pieces and tongue labels that feature co-branded details.

The movement of city life inspires the Wave Rider. The Nylon uppers are seen in a beige tone while decorated with an Animal Crossing resident print atop the toe boxes and quarters. Elsewhere the sneakers include a translucent formstrip, along with sand, blue and green suede overlays, finished off by an embroidered leaf emblem on the heels.

The Future Rider completes the pack, as the top halves switch between nylon, canvas, and suede materials. The sneakers feature the leaf logo on the heels, while overlays in minty teal and muted pinks and purples add a nice dose of color. The TPU mold references the video game’s design elements.

Besides footwear, PUMA is also dropping a slew of apparel, including a pullover hoodie, a tee with an all-over leaf pattern, long-sleeved tee sweatpants, and shorts.
