The good folks over at Champion Athleticwear, makers of authentic athletic apparel since 1919, are back. This time around, they arrive with a special new limited-edition capsule collection. Today we get our first look at the Champion x Sesame Street collection in partnership with Sesame Workshop. Now Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and other favorites will be seen on Champion apparel as part of a new character-inspired collection.
The collection arrives on the heels of the Sesame Workshop’s new Caring for Each Other initiative. This initiative is an ongoing release of Sesame Street resources amid these challenging times. The goal is to help parents, caregivers, and teachers provide comfort, create routines, and help children stay physically and mentally healthy. As for the Champion x Sesame Street collection. The range comes packed with fan-favorite characters, evoking a sense of warmth and nostalgia.
The collection spans men, women, and youth apparel, it is the first global collection for Champion. The Champion x Sesame Street collection offers many notable pieces. Standouts include a screen-printed Reverse WeaveTM hoodie with Cookie Monster. Elsewhere we see cropped crewneck sweatshirts, joggers with the Sesame Street Muppets, and much more. Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie, Grover and The Count are also seen on a variety of hoodies and crewnecks as well.
