Style In The Streets | A Look Inside The HUF Brooklyn Flagship

This past Saturday, HUF opened its newest flagship store, taking over Brooklyn. The brand was founded back in 2002 by Keith Hufnagel. Since then, it’s grown to have 14 stand-alone stores, which makes the Brooklyn outpost the 15th. HUF celebrated the opening with a special day of events that kicked off at Blue Park. Members of the skate team handed out $1,000 cash for best trick before the crew headed to the new storefront.

Located in the center of Williamsburg, the exterior features a mural from renowned Brooklyn-based graffiti artist Eric Haze. The interior features the signature HUF New York “Big Apple” art piece. The sculpture was designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Haroshi, alongside exclusive HUF Brooklyn apparel. The brand capped off the opening of the Brookly flagship with a private after-party at Villain featuring a special performance from rapper Cam’ron. Hufnagel and HUF CEO Eddie Miyoshi have made plans for further retail expansion into several new cities going into 2020. Plans include storefronts in Asia, San Francisco, and further stores in Los Angeles.

Take a look inside HUF’s Brooklyn flagship in the images below and look for much more from the brand coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the world of style and streetwear coming soon.
