After unveiling their Storyliving community plan, Disney is back in the news feed yet again. This time around, things are different as the company has partnered with Drake’s OVO brand. The two have aligned to release a capsule collection of apparel that is packed full of nostalgia. Designed for the Spring/Summer 2022 season, the range brings back memories from childhood, celebrating the most quintessential Disney characters.
Mickey and his crew, including Donald Duck and Goofy, are emblazoned on tees, sweaters, and more. The collection includes classic red, black, white, and gray, celebrating Mickey’s prominent colors. Each piece is a co-branded design that sees Mickey Mouse standing above the word’s “October’s Very Own” in a Disney font.
Standout pieces include a hockey jersey, paying homage to one of the biggest sports in Canada. The jersey features an OVO black and gold colorway, with a cartoon graphic of Mickey playing hockey above the October’s Very Own logo and a “C” embroidered on the chest. Elsewhere we see a vintage-inspired blue crew neck sweater, while the range is finished off with accessories such as co-branded baseball caps.
