Style & Purpose | Art Comes First Reveals New Capsule Collection

The creative minds over at Art Comes First are back. Today the imprint returns with a brand new capsule collection that looks at racial justice and equality. The latest drop stays in line with their core belief that “an artist’s duty is to reflect the times,” a quote by American singer-songwriter and civil rights activist Nina Simone. The new range of apparel serves as a prequel for the primary collection.

We see a series of garments boasting evocative graphics such as the “Anti-Capitalist Fashion” vintage tees and more. Elsewhere there is a long sleeve printed with two guns and the phrase “I Need a Pair of Those Next Time I’m Jogging.” While “F*ck Racism” is seen across the back of the tee. There is even a “Cross Arms” button-down shirt with an image of hands holding scissors on the front.

The collection is also host to a reversible face mask that is made from 100 percent cotton. The mask itself features “Art Comes First” on one side and the brand’s hand and scissors graphic on the other.

Take a closer look at this eye-catching collection in the images below and immediately pick up your favorite pieces on Art Comes First’s website. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear selections coming very soon.
