Style With Punch! Roots of Fight Celebrates Muhammad Ali

The creative minds over at Roots of Fight are back in the news. This time around, they return to celebrate the legendary, the iconic, and “The Greatest,” Muhammad Ali. Five years ago, “The Greatest” boxer to ever lace up globes passed away. He was a true fighter, fighting for his rights, standing up for his own religious beliefs, and challenging the powers that be. Ali fought for the impossible and those who thought things were impossible. He also did it for the doubters who fueled his fire.

Roots of Fight has put together a stunning new capsule collection in memory of the great boxer of all time. The new collection is comprised of two t-shirts that are officially licensed by the estate of Muhammad Ali. The Ali Victory Tee is a technicolored iteration of Ali standing over his fallen opponent. The color tee features “GREATEST” across the front, below the imagery.

The second tee, the Ali Zaire Photo Tee, features Ali making his way through the streets of Zaire. Speaking about Ali and the collection, renowned boxer Andre Ward said, “As a fighter, sometimes you have doubt. You’re not supposed to doubt yourself, but inevitably you have a moment where you wonder, am I good enough? One of the things I admired most about Muhammad Ali is he never doubted himself. If he did, he never showed it.” Ward went on to add, “Time and time again, Clay and then Ali did the unthinkable. Shocking the world and maybe even himself at times. His greatness started with a self-belief that moved mountains and caused Ali to become the Greatest Of All Time. Ali believed, so I, too, had the courage to believe in myself against all odds. He never knew how much he impacted my life and career, but he did. For that, I am forever grateful.”
