The world is changing and adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic. The good folks over at UNIQLO are back in the news, revealing its AIRism Masks. The Japanese fashion imprint was hesitant to produce personal protective equipment, noting a high number of requests from customers. Now the brand unveils the latest addition to their “LifeWear” lineup.
The masks feature a patent-pending three-layer AIRism structure. The exterior includes UV protection qualities that block 90 percent of ultraviolet rays. A high-performance filter with 99 percent (BFE) Bacterial Filtration Efficiency adds more protection, preventing water droplets, bacteria particles, virus particles, and pollen. The interior is host to a non-woven fabric of cotton that wicks away sweat to remain cool for added comfort. The AIRism Masks are available in packs of three and can be washed in the washing machine with detergent. UNIQLO will be limiting one pack of each size per person.
