The Rae Sremmurd representative known as Swae Lee, has been a busy man so far in 2019. The wordsmith has been on his grind as of late. He’s been cooking up new music and serving up some solid new singles in the process. After closing out 2018 with Swaecation, Swae Lee is back with two brand new singles for our listening enjoyment. The first cut, titled “Sextasy,” while the second is titled “Won’t Be Late.” The two new singles find the artist showing off his vocal and lyrical prowess, as well as his range and his influences.
The first track, “Sextasy,” is a solo joint produced by Mike Will Made-It. This one finds Swae Lee holding things down on his own while showing off his incredible and undeniable sounds behind the emic. The wordsmith gets one hell of an instrumental to his thing upon, and he cooks up something fresh and addictive.
The second single, “Won’t Be Late,” finds Swae linking up with Toronto’s very own, Drake. The Tekno produced track has an island vibe that is impossible to pull away from. Driven by some snappy, energetic drums and these fresh, refreshing melodies, the fellas get a nice home to do their thing. They cook up something perfect to close out Summer, offering a solid dose of their respective talents along the way.
