Swim In The Sky! The Embassy Gardens Sky Pool

Rooftop pools are cool, and all, but the Sky Pool changes everything. The good folks over at Embassy Gardens recently unveiled the Sky Pool, which is an 82-foot-long, 10-foot deep swimming pool. The pool is anchored between two 10-story buildings and suspended 110 feet off the ground.

Constructed from what might be the world’s largest single piece of load-bearing acrylic, the Sky Pool boasts a transparent basin that seems to float in the air. Swimmers get an unadulterated view of the streets below while swimming laps. They can also catch glimpses of the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, and the Thames at night.

The pool will be available to Embassy Gardens residents with Eagle Club memberships and their guests. The pool is slated to open soon, though a concrete date hasn’t been announced. Sorry in advance if this puts a damper on any pool days for the rest of the Summer. Aim high.

Take a closer look at the Embassy Gardens Sky Pool in the images and find out more about the design from Embassy Gardens. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more Summer activities and outstanding examples of design and architecture coming soon.
