The one and only, T-Pain is back. The rapper-turned-singer or singer-turned-rapper returns with something new, scoring a video game in a new artistic journey. In a new venture, Squanch Games and Justin Roiland, best known as the co-creator of Rick & Morty, have collaborated to create the latest “Trover Saves The Universe” video game. T-Pain is scoring the game, and today, we get a look at a new track that shares the same title as the game.
“Trover Saves The Universe” finds T-Pain showing off a simple and infectious backdrop to do his thing upon, and he doesn’t disappoint. The autotune impresario lays down something comedic and unique, which aims to recruit new fans in the process. The new game is outfitted for PS4 and is a comedic one. The game was described as a game “takes you into the boss’ offices where you’ll find other intergalactic employees whom all need help keeping their jobs and staying alive (oof, unemployment is tough but murder?! What kind of place are they running?!).”
The trackfits the vibe, as T-Pain sings, “It’s been so long since we had someone to look up to. But that’s just not the case anymore. Just look up in the sky and say what the f**k, though. And you’ll see your hero. Bust right through that door.”
