The Technics SL-1200 is an icon and a staple of the early-day DJ scene. Today the audio company is back, celebrating the SL-1200’s 50th birthday. The SL-1200M7L keeps the key elements from the classic, adding a handful of upgrades along the way. The turntable has a cordless direct-drive motor for reduced cogging and improvements to speed adjustment, pitch control, and reverse play functions.
The device features a gold tonearm, a serial number badge, and a white LED illuminator. Inspired by the DJ culture, the turntable is available in limited quantities in seven different colors.
