The good folks over at Fossil have long been creating unique and eye-catching timepieces. Today they return, taking us back to 1999 with a revival of the BIG TIC watch. This eye-catching timepiece was first introduced back in 1999, offering analog hours and minutes function coupled with a fully digital dial display for the seconds. The brand brings back this iconic timepiece for 2020, doing so with some new features in the process.
For the re-introduction, Fossil partnered with Fukuoka-based illustrator Backside Works. The timepiece arrives in both 32mm and 40mm sizes, rocking a highly polished silver look. However, the monochrome digital dial is replaced with rainbow seconds that fill the center of the dial. The watch also boasts seven different digital animations for displaying the seconds. Each one has a retro ’90s appeal thanks to the good folks over at Backside Works. The new Backside Works x Fossil BIG TIC is available now and can be found at NEUVE A.
