The Darkest Black | BMW Vantablack X6 SUV

Vantablack is the world’s blackest substance. The substance is created with carbon nanotubes and its capable of making the distinct features of 3D objects seemingly disappear into the black. The good folks over at BMW have paired up with Surrey NanoSystems to create something new for the exterior of the X6. The result is the BMW Vantablack X6 SUV. This striking and beautiful machine is the darkest SUV one can find.

The eye-catching colorway allows the vehicle’s massive grille, twin headlights, and wheels stand out even more than usual. The Vantablack color makes the bodywork seem flat and uncontoured, which means all of the other details, pop and contrast the body brilliantly. While BMW hasn’t released too much information or many details regarding the Vantablack X6, we hope to see the color option offered across more rides in their fleet. The car will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, though no word on when, or if BMW will add it as an option.

Take a closer look at the BMW Vantablack X6 and learn more about the creation from BMW immediately. Stay tuned with us here at The Culture Curators for more new cars, as well as classics, customs and more coming soon.
