After a rebirth, the DeLorean Motor Company is back. The automaker has returned with big plans for the future, and they have released a teaser for a new electric car. The teaser comes a few months ahead of the August 18th, 2022, reveal. Though the teaser doesn’t do much in the way of showing off the vehicle, it certainly builds the hype. The photo of the all-new electric car just shows the rear driver’s side tail light and a bit of the rear fender.
Though it doesn’t provide much detail, the designer Italdesign has worked in some of the original DeLorean’s most iconic features. The electric car will have a louvered rear window, gullwing doors, and stainless steel imitating silver paint. As mentioned above, the DeLorean will make its debut in August. The first reveal takes place on the 18th, while its public debut goes down at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21st.
