The Easy Life | Heinz Canada Creates Bottles With Proper Pouring Angle

We’ve all had that epic battle with a glass bottle of Heinz ketchup. You know the one, pounding the side of the bottle like a maniac before giving up and using a knife. If you know, then you know. There is actually a proper angle and a spot to tap the bottle, but if you don’t know, the struggle is real. After a few minutes of hassle, first-timers will often give up the notion of adding ketchup to their dish. Heinz Canada is helping out.

According to reports, a new release from Heinz Canada finds the traditional labels place at the proper angle in order to pour your condiment. Simply turn the bottle until the label is straight and you’re golden. No more struggles, no more epic battles, and all the ketchup you can possibly desire. So, for all of you who don’t know, now you know. The struggle is officially over! No more battling the bottle, looking like a fool in public, or using a butter knife to spread your ketchup like a weirdo.

Take a look at the rendering of the bottle up top and check out the short video below. No word on when or if this will hit Canadian store shelves, but we’d love to see a bottle! Stay tuned for more from our Food & Drink section; just don’t expect the service to be great.
