The good folks over at Porsche are expanding the 911 family. The 911 returns with two new models for 2020; the Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 Cayman and Boxster. Both vehicles will arrive with a new naturally-aspirated four-liter flat-six similar to the motor in the 718 GT4. The new version will arrive with 394 hp and 309 lb-ft of torque in both coupe and Boxster versions. This means both cars have a 0-60 mph time of just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 182 MPH.
The only transmission option is the six-speed manual. Porsche Active Suspension Management is standard, while the ride height has been lowered by 20mm. Both vehicles will arrive with Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential, while the Sport Chrono package comes standard. Both models are set to arrive at dealerships in Summer 2020. These machines are sure to turn heads and quickly, offering a balanced blend of power, performance and eye-catching detail that we’ve come to expect.
