The Future Is Here | Volkswagen Reveals The Futuristic ID Space Vizzion

The good folks over at Volkswagen are focused on the future. This week the automaker introduced the seventh concept car from its family of fully electric vehicles. The ID Space Vizzion is a look into the future. The design effortlessly combines aerodynamic qualities of a Gran Turismo with the spaciousness of an SUV. The ID Space Vizzion defines an entirely new segment. Klaus Bischoff, Head of Volkswagen Design, spoke about the vehicle.

He stated: “The new ID Space Vizzion brings unrivaled flexibility, uncompromising quality and German design to a new era of mobility.” The ride is based on the modular electric drive matrix. The car’s 82 kWh gross battery capacity allows it to travel up to 300 miles, capable of hitting 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds. The front section of the ID Space Vizzion features innovative airflow openings, providing a sleek and functional aesthetic. The interior boasts ample room for life on the move.

The materials utilized therein are sustainable, offering plenty of options throughout. Driving information is shown on an augmented reality head-up-display. Additionally, all entertainment, comfort, and online functions are controlled through a 15.6-inch touchscreen. Key information is also provided by an interactive light strip between the A-pillars. The fully electric vehicle will be officially presented at the end of 2021, with plans to launch in different variations in Europe, North America, and China.
