The good folks over at Audi are back in the news. Today the automaker is back with a glimpse into the future. Today we get our first look at the 2022 Audi R8 Coupe. The range-topping R8 is getting some updates and upgrades for the future, including a bit more power. 2022 looks to be a good year for the brand, which is adding some power to their iconic ride.
Powered by a 5.2-liter V10, the ride gets a bump in horsepower from 532 to 562, while torque has been elevated from 398 lb-ft to 406 lb-ft. The vehicle also features two new options, including the Sport exhaust package and Dynamic package. The Sport exhaust package features a blacked-out exhaust system, while the Dynamic package offers ceramic brakes front and rear, 20-inch wheels, and racing shell seats covered in Nappa leather.
Audi is undoubtedly stepping up their game with this one, offering a dose of form and function. There is no word on when we can expect the 2022 Audi R8 to arrive in showrooms, but we will keep you updated.
