The Future of Fast | Lamborghini Reveals The Vision Gran Turismo

Lamborghini is known for pushing automotive design forward. Their sharp, sleek silhouettes are icons on both road and track. The company’s most recent project is pushing the boundaries of design even further into the future. The Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo might not be making its way to the streets anytime soon, but it has our attention. The ride is powered by a V12, which made its debut just ahead of the World Finals of the 2019 FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships.

The ride will be formally introduced in the Spring of 2020 when fans of Gran Turismo will gain access to the vehicle. Until then, the company has released some details about the concept. The ride boasts a futuristic single-seat cockpit with virtually-projected driver diagnostics. Power comes from an 812HP powertrain pulled straight from Lamborghini’s lauded Sián FKP 37. While it also boasts enhanced aerodynamic properties to keep that power on the track. The improved aerodynamic properties were included as inspiration in the design. For example, the 1968 Marzal’s hexagonal side windows can be seen, while Lamborghini’s signature Y-taillight is seen on the back.

Take a closer look at the Vision Gran Turismo in the images below and find out more from Lamborghini immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides, concept cars, and classic coming soon.
