The Future of Footwear? The adidas IIM 4D

The good folks over at adidas are back at it. Once again, the brand with the three stripes is looking to push footwear forward. After the introduction of the ZX 2K 4D, adidas is back with a look at the IIM 4D. The sneaker looks to be something pulled from our dreams for the future.

The model is seen in a striking “Grey/Silver” colorway, offering a distinct and eye-catching appeal throughout. The design features a stunningly different Primeknit upper, which is host to hits of color on the toebox.

The upper also features structural piping woven throughout, offering a unique twist to the traditional lacing system. The sneaker is surrounded by a TPU molded cupsole, which sits on top of the 4D technology cushioning system. The sole is created using adidas’ proprietary Digital Light Synthesis, which 3D prints a cushioned, responsive, and light sole. The design is finished off with a parallel vertical line rubber tread. The design is certainly a step into the future.

Take a closer look at the adidas IIM 4D in the images and look for the sneakers to arrive sooner than later. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators  for all the best new footwear coming soon.
