One of the most iconic sneakers on the planet, the Chuck Taylor All-Star, is back. This time around, Converse is looking to the future, offering up a welcome update to the iconic silhouette. Today we get our first look at the Chuck Taylor All-Star CX. The sneaker marks a unique step forward for the brand, no pun intended.
The sneaker incorporates the innovative CX foam cushioning, while a dynamic stretch canvas upper offers a comfortable approach to a classic design. The Chuck Taylor is everyone’s favorite sneaker, and now it’s provided with innovative tech and forward thinking materials. The midsoles on the Chuck Taylor All-Star CX use a plush Phylon foam for maximized comfort.
The re-engineered rubber offers increased flexibility, providing incredible support in the process. The new CX will arrive in three colorways, including white, black, and gray. Each features a bright orange outsole, which adds a contrasting pop of color. This is a prime example of old meets new, aiming to take the iconic sneaker into the future.
