After the unsuccessful Austin A90 Atlantic, Donald Healy developed the model into the Healy 100. The vehicle boasted a reworked chassis and new bodywork. Today we get a look at 25 new Austin-Healey 100s. These stunning automobiles were created by Canton, who put a modern twist on a classic British roadster. The original Healy 100’s were assembled by Austin, becoming the Austin-Healey 100 enthusiasts know today.
The Healy by Canton features modern power and a handful of upgrades throughout. The roadster is powered by a 3-liter inline-four making 185 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Though refined, the body keeps its classic shape by removing the seams and exterior hinges. The rear suspension remains relatively original, though new dampers have been added. The front features a double-wishbone design. Each car will be hand-assembled in Coventry by Canton with various options to make each vehicle unique.
