Looking for an out-of-this-world adventure? Well, look no further. After introducing the Neptune Space Balloon, last June, Space Perspective is now taking reservations for its first flight. Starting in 2024, the company will take eight people on a luxurious ride to the stratosphere. The ride will take place in a specially crafted pressurized capsule that will launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
The six-hour journey will take passengers up to 100,000 feet off the ground, floating on the edge of space while providing some spectacular views in the process. Guests can watch the sunrise and gaze back at Earth from a 360-degree window. The capsule features reclining seats and an onboard refreshments bar. The descent back to Earth includes an ocean landing where passengers will then board a ship and head to shore.
