The Michelin x Bamford London B347 Pilot Sport

A stunning timepiece can do a lot for one’s style. The good folks over at Bamford London are back with a new collaborative timepiece that is sure to draw some attention. Bamford London has aligned with tire maker Michelin for a new limited-edition iteration of the B347 monopusher chronograph. The timepiece includes a rubber strap made from recycled Michelin Pilot Sport 5 test tires with a unique yellow fleck and a reproduction of the tire’s tread pattern.

George Bamford spoke about the collaboration. He stated: “What started out as a light-bulb moment, stood next to a line-up of Porsches at a car meet with a friend who works at Michelin, has developed into this stunning display of two pioneering brands.” Mr. Bamford added, “The racing-inspired design, lightweight carbon body, integrating the recycled tire rubber and marking this by adding the tread pattern from their latest tire – it all works.”

The timepiece boasts a tachymeter scale bezel with a black and white checkered flag finish, while Michelin yellow adorns the hands. The 133-piece forged carbon limited edition design is powered by a Sellita SW510 automatic movement. The timepiece arrives in a custom presentation box featuring ‘Bibendum’ or Michelin Man.
