The Weeknd – After Hours

It’s only the middle of the week, but The Weeknd is already upon us. The crooner has a brand new album on the horizon, and he’s back with a brand new single. With ‘After Hours’ slated for release on March 20th, The Weeknd is back with the title track from his impending project. Along with the track, the artist also released the official album cover; which can be seen up top. The track is the third single from Abel’s upcoming album, and once again, he doesn’t disappoint.

The track is pushed by these incredibly contagious melodies while backed by some gritty drum work. The combination provides a nice home for the artist to showcase his vocals, and he doesn’t fall short in the process. The track follows “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights,” which was used as the soundtrack for the Mercedes-Benz EQC campaign. The Weeknd has been a busy man, hitting the stages of Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently, while also slated to be the musical guest for Saturday Night Live on March 7th.

Do yourself a favor and check out the new single, “After Hours” in the stream below and look for more from The Weeknd coming very soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
