After serving up his wildly popular ‘After Hours’ album, The Weeknd is back. This time around, he returns in remixed form thanks to Major Lazer. The group has flipped The Weeknd’s single “Blinding Lights” into something new and energetic, offering a renovated dancehall appeal. The track’s original backdrop has been replaced with this contagious and incredibly energetic soundscape. The new sound makes a perfect home for The Weeknd’s vocals while coming in perfect timing for Spring and Summer.
The Weeknd is currently sitting at the top of the Billboard 200 charts with After Hours. This marks the project’s third consecutive week at the No. 1 spot. The new “Blinding Lights” remix is just the latest remix from The Weeknd, who is certainly extending the life of his new album in the process.
