The Weeknd – Gasoline (Music Video)

Fresh off the release of his new album, ‘Dawn FM,’ The Weeknd returns. He serves up a new set of visuals this time, unleashing a clip for the standout single “Gasoline.” The track is a pop-inspired, upbeat track that features the production of Matt Cohn, Max Martin, and Oscar Holter. The video was directed by Matilda Finn and finds the artist working his way through an interesting nightclub scene.

The video is nearly five minutes long and plays out rather cinematically. The clip starts with ants crawling creepily around The Weeknd’s earphone-plugged ears while he makes his way through a storm before crashing into a do not enter sign. Yes, that’s just the beginning. Next, he enters the club mentioned above scene where he encounters his older self and people that shapeshift from humans to zombie-like beings. Towards the end, The Weeknd gets into an intense fight scene with the elderly variation of himself, capping off the visuals in the process.

Check out the new video for “Gasoline” in the stream below, and be sure to check out the rest of ‘Dawn FM’ if you haven’t already. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming soon.
