Another day, another new remix including Doja Cat. The artist has been on a roll as of late, which all kicked off with the remix to her single “Say So.” That particular remix became a chart-topping smash with some lyrical assistance from Nicki Minaj. Today Doja Cat is back, linking up with The Weeknd for the “In Your Eyes (Remix).” The stand out single from ‘After Hours’ gets an update, though much of it stays the same.
The Weeknd’s vocals remain unchanged and the instrumental has no new elements. However, Doja Cat brings her uncanny and unadulterated style to the track. Along the way she shows off, giving us a dose of her delivery and range behind the mic, adding nicely to an already infectious track. If you were a fan of the original, then you are sure to be a fan of the “In Your Eyes (Remix).”
