Thinking Ahead | BAPE’s Spring/Summer 2020 Collection

Just like their Fall/Winter 2019 range, BAPE’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection is loaded with patterns and prints. The range features an update of several vintage items, as well as several new designs as well. The collection also serves as an appreciation for timeless Japanese design, doing so with contemporary cuts and BAPE’s classic iconography. Along with staple outerwear, the new collection features a slew of original graphics.

Along the way, we find an all-over Tokyo skyline print, flaming APE HEAD graphics, and “A BATHING APE” branding. These details are offered in faux Japanese lettering. Windbreakers and pullover jackets are a nod to BAPE’s sportswear influences, seen alongside sweatpants and more. Elsewhere we find satin souvenir jackets and noragi, both rocking tiger, shuriken, and APE embroidery. The rear of the noragi includes thematic “NINJA” verbiage — including “Harajuku Ninja” and “World Gone Mad” written in Japanese.

Take a look at this eye-catching new range in the images below and look for the collection at BAPE’s web store and global flagships early next year. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear options coming very soon.
